Welcome to Mahogany Media Review. We are a group of professional women ages 30 something to 50 something in Albany, N.Y.
~ Our Goal ~
Our goal is to promote literacy by bringing more African- American Authors and literary events to our community. We provide book reviews for authors as well as our local urban newspaper.~
We were voted Most Innovative Book Club 2003~
by the YOUnity Reviewers Guild.
~ Mahogany Making A Difference Campaign ~
Each year we collect books, games, clothes, and various items for our local youth at risk groups.
All our review books are donated to local women's shelters, Guilda House (cancer recovery) The Boys & Girls Club.The soldiers in Irag. Without our member's efforts and the generous donations from the community this program would not be possible. Thank You.
